About this deal

Always ensure good hygiene by washing your hands and work surfaces before handling the water filter. The perfect Prep™ can detect limescale build up, notifying you when it needs descaling. The descaling process will remove deposits of calcium and other minerals in the system that may affect its performance. A red descale warning light will illuminate when the unit requires descaling soon. If the red light flashes, you should descale immediately. Yes. Perfect Prep™ machines are designed to make a parent’s life simpler and passes all appropriate standards for electrical baby products. The filter has been designed and independently tested to be as effective as boiling water from a microbiological perspective and ensures impurities are removed so that clean and safe water is delivered to the bottle, and the hot shot kills bacteria that may be in the formula powder. Small particles of carbon may be in the bag or on the surface of your filter. These dust particles are harmless and will be reduced during the initial set up process when submerging in clean fresh water.

The Perfect Prep™ unit contains a probe that measures the temperature of the water in the tank which prevents the unit from dispensing if the water is above 27°C. This is a key safety feature to ensure that the final feed is not too hot for your baby. It’s therefore possible for the combination of both tolerances, machine, and bottle, to make the volume dispensed by the machine appear inaccurate. On average each Perfect Prep filter should last around 3 months, however this depends on the frequency of use and what size bottles you are preparing. The original Perfect Prep machine features a warning light which will indicate when the filter is due to be replaced and the Day & Night version will display a message on the screen. Antibacterial filter: Designed to be used with water straight from the tap - the antibacterial filter features a unique membrane designed to remove any impurities and contaminants present in the water With the water hopper in place (but not the filter) fill the hopper with 1 litre of freshly boiled hot water.

The Perfect Prep™ should be kept in a cool, dry location, avoiding direct sunlight, and kept away from warm appliances. This is recommended to avoid the tank temperature getting too warm. Press the descale button for 2 seconds and the system will run a descale process. During the descale process the red descale light will continue to flash.

We only recommend you use Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Replacement Filters in the Perfect Prep machine. The filter may look a lot like other water filters but inside is a unique filtration membrane designed to remove impurities and contaminants. Most standard water filters do not include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria. It is therefore extremely important to ensure that you are buying and using the correct Tommee Tippee anti-bacterial filter. Using a cold-water sterilising solution (following manufacturer guidelines for using with 1.8 litres of water), add required amount to the water tank. Fill the tank to the max line with cold water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout. At this time the lid, hopper and bottle stand should also be cleaned using hot soapy water, rinsed thoroughly, and allowed to dry naturally (do not use cloths or tea towels to dry).Anti-Bacterial Filter: The Perfect Prep anti-bacterial filter is designed for use with water straight from the tap and ensures that the water is clean and safe to make a bottle feed You can use Take 3 as many times as you want as long as you have the available credit on your Account
