About this deal

It’s also a slim stroller so it’s easy to squeeze through tight spots and maneuver. The slim design might not be ideal for people with bigger toddlers but this would probably be an issue with any lightweight stroller. Can be used from birth Pricing. We’ll go into detail on the price of Micralite ProFold Pushchair in a moment but it’s worth covering in the quality chapter here too. Most important of all my son looks really comfortable in it and enjoys sitting in it. Would you recommend this to other parents? Next up is material. Read through the product description for Micralite ProFold Pushchair to get an understanding of the materials the product is made from. Some materials will obviously be known for delivering better quality item than others. You might also have decided that you’ll only accept a product made from a particular material.

I do worry that the Micralite ProFold will feel wobbly when Alba gets older. She currently weighs 8kg and it’s not an issue at all but I wouldn’t want to push my three year old in it. A smooth ride Then we’re on to features. Again this will vary in importance depending on the type of toy you’re buying. You’ll no doubt have a view on whether you care about features or not for Prams and pushchairs. After that, we worked out how many products were more expensive or cheaper. From the 134 products, 42 cost more and 87 cost less than Micralite ProFold Pushchair. Prices from Micralite Yes! The first pushchair I’ve used where you really can fold it down with one hand. It isn’t overly complicated and even my mum can do it (honestly, my mum hasn’t been able to fold any of our pushchairs!) Disclaimer: This Micalite ProFold pram was given to me a press sample but I was under no obligation to write about it. I have chosen to write this review as I feel the pram is a good quality product that I am happy to recommend. All words are honest and my own.

If you need a buggy that doesn’t monopolise space in the car boot and can be taken on holiday, the Micralite ProFold may fit the bill.

If the price appears to be significantly lower than you’d expect for the sort of product you’re buying, then you’d be wise to start looking in a bit more detail at other indicators of the quality. The Micralite ProFold isn’t the lightest pushchair on the market but this actually isn’t a bad thing. We also have the Silvercross Jet which weighs just 5.9kg and I find it to be too lightweight when pushing an older baby. If your toddler weighs twice as much as the pushchair and suddenly leans to the side while you’re pushing then your pushchair will wobble and possibly even tip over. A pushchair needs a bit of weight behind it or it’ll just feel flimsy when pushing a bigger baby or toddler. While the ProFold’s toggle glides smoothly and remains secure when the seat is upright, some users might prefer a different style of recline altogether. How easy is it to assemble? The first factor that you can look at is the brand. Often we can get a really good understanding of the quality of toys and other gadgets by just looking at the brand. There are some brands that are really well known for great quality, whilst others might be better known for value.(and some are known to be poor in both areas).
