About this deal

The well-designed upper of the Saucony Axon 2 has a breathable double mesh, welded overlays, a gusseted soft tongue, and a well-structured heel counter. I found that it fit true to size and didn’t notice any hotspots. There’s a little more to it. The inner mesh sleeve is actually made of 4 different kind of meshes, on the midfoot, midfoot sides, toebox, tongue…

Pulling cues from the Triumph series, the Hurricane is a highly-cushioned premium stability shoe from Saucony. Recommended for moderate overpronation. The closest one to the cushion amount is the Revel, but even there, you aren’t getting nearly as much cushion, or aggressive responsiveness as the Axon will give you. THOMAS: After the double-digit miles, the bottom of my feet felt beat up the following morning. Maybe I’m too pampered by softer foams these days. With that in mind, the Saucony Axon hits the mark in both aspects. With all that cushion underfoot, and quality PWRRUN cushion, I was able to comfortably for 10, 12, and 14 miles.Neutral shoes are meant for runners with normal pronation (no excessive inward or outward rolling of the foot), while stability shoes have supportive components to prevent overpronation.

This lineup shares most design components with its neutral counterpart. Its inherent support not only works for mild overpronation but is also unobtrusive for neutral runners. As noted above, the heel collar can irritate the Achilles Tendon. I never found that it got to the point of being inflamed past the next couple of hours, but that is something to keep an eye on.Ultraspire Fitted Race Belt:The best way to carry your phone and goods on the run. No bounce and various sizes for waist The Saucony Triumph 20 is an awesome-fitting daily trainer with great cushioning from top to bottom. We loved running in these shoes almost daily, and the lab tests confirmed that this is indeed the best daily trainer among the Saucony squad.

When I put them on, I loved the cushion but was surprised about the balance from the heel to the toe. miles of our rough wear testing barely left any wear on the outsole! The rubber remained unscathed, plus the midsole was not bottoming out any time soon! While other running shoes' prices continue to go up, the Saucony Axon 2's price tag remains affordable. On top of this, it performs just as well as its steeper-priced counterparts. THOMAS: I wasn’t that excited to review the Axon this year. However, I found myself at the HQ on a Thursday night for the Believe Run Club weekly run, gearing up to run in a different shoe that I was reviewing. After a warm-up mile in the other shoe, I realized that it wasn’t going to be the right shoe for that night. So I looked for another trainer that needed to be reviewed and decided to take the Saucony Axon 2 out. It turned out to be a great choice. I started running and felt how the shoe transitioned under my feet with ease. A step-up from the EVERUN, PWRRUN was first introduced in Saucony Guide 13 (2019 release). It feels noticeably lighter and softer than the EVERUN.

The company is owned by Wolverine World Wide, an American manufacturer of footwear which also produces shoes and boots from Caterpillar, Merrell, Keds, Hush Puppies, Sperry, among others. Are Saucony running shoes vegan? Then, a box arrived at my door. It was the Saucony Axon 2. The fanfare was still pretty much nonexistent, but that might change once people start to get the Axon on their feet. The Peregrine 13’s outsole is a beast. It provides incredible traction—thanks to its almost full-coverage outsole complemented with 4.8 mm lugs that are patterned to shed mud. Snow, mud, dirt, and gravel—the Peregrine 13 breezed through. However, there is something about the compound that lets you down on wet concrete/asphalt. I have run now 5 times on wet surfaces, and have felt the shoe slip each time. Skratch Recovery, Coffee Flavor:Mental and physical boost post run. Coffee flavor is excellent and goes great straight into a fresh brewed cup

Stability: A [Stable Neutral] ( High stiffness, particularly in the midfoot which makes for a very naturally stable neutral shoe. May be too stiff for some people, but provides mild to moderate guidance.) Comprised of small TPU “bubbles”, it may look very similar to Adidas Boost but it has a lighter, livelier ride. Additionally, the shoe has a curved forefoot design and firm cushion, so both forefoot strikers and heel strikers can roll forward smoothly with this trainer. Thanks to the unique outsole design, the Saucony Axon 2 stays in perfect condition longer than its original Axon and Endorphin Shift shoe line. Saucony designed the Axon 2’s outsole with a firm rubber to keep the shoe intact. And while that outsole rigidity might limit the Axon 2’s flex, it allows the shoe to remain strong for many years and miles. One thing I would be interested in is seeing how this shoe feels after 100 miles, if it softens up in the midsole a bit it could be a more interesting pic to me. Saucony Axon is surprisingly light In 2020 Saucony made a hit with its Endorphin trinity, which provided tough competition to the revolutionary Nike Next% race shoes. It is a versatile lineup that is ready for slow daily miles as well as speed training. It is more cushioned and durable than the Kinvara.
