About this deal

During your commute: If you take public transportation or have a long commute, you may find it helpful to use that time to read. Most of this reminded me of the camping scene from The Stopover, but tweaked a bit and set in Thailand. We also get to see them have some babies, which is nice, but other than that, not much else happens. The Do-Over - Light and enjoyable like the stopover epilogue. It helped me understand and like Christopher more. The relationship between him, Hayden and Eddie is very sweet. This epilogue serves as a wrap up to the series too so I do recommend reading this last. Jameson and Emily are so chaotic, and it’s always so entertaining. I do think that Jameson is incredibly brash, so he kind of annoys me. Besides the ending of the epilogue (which was SO cute), I didn’t see a point in this storyline. It was entertaining, but it could’ve been better!

Let me preface this by saying I've enjoyed TL Swan's books. I'm a fan of The Stopover, love The Takeover, and am a fan of her across the pond reads that center grumpy men (Mr. Masters and Mr. Garcia). I really really really hope that we are going to get more books based of the new generation of Miles's. One big positive: No Mother Miles popping up throughout with her words of unwisdom. I still haven’t forgiven her for the way she spoke about Claire like she was some dried up old prune simply because she's in her late thirties! (Yes, I’m around Claire’s age, how could you tell?) This epilogue just gave another example for why Tristan Miles is the best Miles brother. He is so sweet, and his relationship with his (Claire’s) sons is so cute and so funny! I had such a blast reading their story. I love them so much. beds banging against walls (you think with all their money the Miles brothers could buy sturdy bed frames)I really felt for Kate and Elliot in this. The majority of their epilogue was them dealing with fertility issues and it was so heartbreaking seeing them go through it. (Not a spoiler as there is a warning before the epilogue) I do wish it were a bit more fluffy, but I did like how real and raw it felt and that it brought awareness to the topic! I did love how it all came together in the end though🥹 The Casanova: I loved the story between Elliot and Kate that I read it multiple times. However, I wasn’t too happy with their epilogue. Even though they got their happy ending I think they deserved more. Kate went through so much losing his parents, not having a relationship with his sister to go through infertility.. given that on the book it said that Elliot got Enchanted because he wanted to raised his children There (I thought he wanted to have several) as well as his brother have and only having one child wasn’t the end I expected for them.

Elliot (The Casanova) — 2 stars — I can’t lie, at the end of his book I half-wanted Kate to stay in Hawaii and live her best life with some hot surfer after Elliot left her to go make sure he didn’t love someone else more (Yes, I already said it once, but really, wtf!). As it is, she’s very forgiving, so we join the two after they’ve been happily married for 18 months. The only thing missing in their life now, is a baby. The Casanova - hard to not spoil however this epilogue sees Kate and Elliot through a more turbulent and trying time in their relationship. Its slightly jarring compared to the other epilogues however it has one of the more sweet moments in the entire series between Elliot, Kate, Emily and Jameson. The Takeover - my favourite original book and epilogue. Out of all the couples, Tristan and Claire are truly made for one another. Both quite goofy and have the best banter. The intimate scenes were on point for how many kids they have (fellow new parent here) and I love how T.L Swan writes family scenes. So frenetic, chaotic and perfect. Along with the Do-Over, I was most excited for this epilogue. I adore Tristan’s relationship with the boys and I loved seeing more of that in this epilogue. Their family is so chaotic and I love it! I wasn't a fan of Christopher's story (did he really love his partner to begin with...or did his love for the little boy keep them together?) and stopped reading when I got to him.Tristan is, and always will be, miles (sorry, couldn’t help myself) above the other brothers. Remember that one time Claire said Christopher and Tristan were like two peas in a pod with identical personalities? She must have been drunk out of her MIND that night, because there is, sadly, no-one else even close to Tristan. The way he cares for those three boys, his dedication to making Claire happy, his reluctance to let his baby girl out of his sight…Yeah, okay, you got me right in the ovaries there. What hasn’t changed, though, is the laugh out loud moments. And no, I don’t mean that it’s a rip-roaring comedy, just that it’s that bizarre in parts.

And what a bitter end it almost was. There’s nothing I love more in a romantic epilogue than when the H and h are screaming at each other, throwing objects, and then not talking for a week…! Early morning: Some people find that reading in the morning helps them start their day with a positive and productive mindset. There’s only so many repetitive "Mile-isms" a person can take before it starts to become noticeable. In this book alone we have: I absolutely loved to learn more about Eddie as well. I believe the reason why I loved the Do-Over so much is because of how Christopher fell in love with Hayden, and Eddie. Knowing that he is all grown up, and succeeding made me so happy. The Casanova—Kate and Elliot trying for a baby. CW: tons of fertility, infertility, IVF discussions and journey.

I felt the author rushed through the book, slapped first drafts together, and said, "Here ya go." Not only were there grammatical issues, but she recycled phrases way too much. Their epilogue had me laughing so much. Emily really put Jameson through it in this and I loved it🤣 A very enjoyable read for sure! Their dynamic is so entertaining. And, possibly my favourite, teaching your kid that asking for respect is synonymous with throwing punches. stars! Miles Ever After is a collection of novellas, or extended epilogues, for the Miles series. I thought I was looking forward to this, but I was really only looking forward to the catchup with Tristan and Claire (since The Takeover is my fav book in this series). But as a whole, I’m feeling very meh about this whole thing, didn’t really like any of the other novellas besides Tristan & Claire’s. Now obviously fans of the series will love this but for me it just reminded me of why I had disliked certain characters’ books. 😅 This was the epilogue I was most worried about because I saw someone say they were unhappy with where Elliot and Kate ended up. However, I really liked it. The struggles felt incredibly authentic. The only reason this wasn’t a 5 ⭐️ epilogue was because of how Elliot and Kate blew up at one another. I did not like that aspect at all. However, what Jameson and Emily did for Kate and Elliot was one of the most heartwarming things I have ever read, so I was BAWLING.Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep. Of course, they get their HEA eventually, and it’s sweet if a little predictable, but after everything that happened between them, I was left more on the sombre side, instead of with the warm fuzzies.
