About this deal

I grabbed a bathrobe, put it on, and tightly tied the belt around my waist. I closed the top part and folded my arms over my chest, hoping that it would warm my heart from the sheer iciness of Charles’s words. I spent the last three years waiting for him. I tried and tried my best to show him my affection and concern despite the distance between us, but I got nothing in return. One day, I woke up and allowed the truth to beat me to a pulp. I’d never heard Charles talk to me in such a gentle voice. Hearing him talk like that to Rita made my eyes sting with tears. In seeking revenge or vengeance in the name of a mother who would have been devastated and ashamed at the men her sons had become, these boys are reaching new lows. Great! Come work in our TV station then. I mean, you're perfect for the job. You majored in media, your voice is pleasant to hear, and you're gorgeous. People are going to love you. You'll fit right in. What do you say?"

I’m guessing this was supposed to be funny and exciting because he keeps trying his well thought-out strategy and the heroine doesn’t fall for it (although of course she does). And it was funny - but not for the reasons intended. Claire June was orphaned at the age of ten; her parents were killed right before her by a psychopath out to get revenge. What? You're going to see that man-stealing whore? I bet she's been urging Charles to divorce you and marry her. Honestly, I don't understand why that woman is still trying so hard. The Moore family rejected her for Charles three years ago. What makes her think that they're going to change their minds now?" Tiana roared from the other end of the line. Unfortunately, i’d read a review that made this book sound like something completely different from what I personally got from it - which was an odd premise that I didn’t believe in, a run-of-the-mill asshole hero, and a 25-year-old virgin heroine who often baffled me with her logic (in other words, a run-of-the-mill heroine for CR). Jang Hyuk… wow, the man can act. Yes, I suppose this is a very superfluous statement for the many of you who know him, but this is my first time and I was enchanted. The character he creates here has no grey areas: Gun is so over the line he goes from hysterically funny to heartbreaking in the space of a few minutes. At times the two aspects are interwoven, and the viewer gets glimpses of his pain through his laughter. But his best trait in my opinion is that he doesn't give a dry fig about what people think of him: he goes on doing what he believes is right in the craziest of manners. Not long after they got married, Scarlett received an offer from her dream university and jumped on it.

Where’s Charles? He promised to come and accompany me tonight,” Rita pressed despite the absence of my response. Her voice was soft, but it sounded harsh to my ears. It pierced through my heart like a hundred needles.Three years ago, the Moore family opposed Charles Moore’s choice to marry his beloved woman and selected Scarlett Riley as his bride. Charles didn’t love her. In fact, he hated her. I knew what she meant. To be honest, I didn’t hate the idea of having a child with Charles. In fact, I was happy to hear it.

I clenched my fist as I swallowed the lump in my throat. Fulfill her last wish? What a great man. But did he have to do it at my expense? Well, I supposed I had no right to be hurt here. After all, I was just a fake Mrs. Moore. A substitute. Our feelings are a disaster. Twisted and pulled in every direction by fear and need. By intimacy and hate. By loyalty and devotion. I finished this book last night, and I’m still a little speechless. Well, anyone who knows me knows I’m never truly speechless, but I’m trying to find the right words. Haley Jenner deserve all the best words I can write. I’ve never read books by two people that have had a flow to them as well as theirs. You can’t tell who writes what. I’ve read books before where two authors have written together and I could always tell which one wrote each chapter...you can’t with these two. I swear, they are the same person. Notable mention for Song Ok Sook, aka Mi Young's mother. I enjoyed every minute of her antics and rejoiced in her relationship with both her daughter and her son in law.

Now this has ALWAYS been done so badly in my opinion, but here I understood it. But I guess I wanted it that HE fights for her. He does gonto her in the end but I think I would've LOVEDDDDDD 5++++ the book if he fought for her. Time had made him into a more mature-looking, head-turning man. I averted my gaze as I felt my cheeks burn. Fayra Shoaib Khan is a twenty year old sweetheart, a brown skinned girl with a Pair of stunning dark grey eyes, she holds a random yet mundane passion/hobby to paint, but the girl was never let out of her cage to breathe in the fresh air of this world. She was always kept in the dark confines of her room. While I was blankly staring at his car, my phone rang. It was my best friend, Tiana. I answered her call.Musa has a deep obsession with abstract art, his main focus being Khafifa(one of the finest pieces of abstract art ever produced), he is also famous for being the possessor of this fine piece of art in his widespread collection. Considering all of her life seemed to revolve around her job and talking with her sister, I don’t see how she’d even have the opportunity to do anything “bad”. I was such a proud mama bear watching the way Codi handled herself in the moment and also in the eventual aftermath. I finally have a good reason to leave you. How can I not be happy?” I said jokingly. Worried that he wouldn’t believe me, I plastered a big smile on my tearstained face. I’m not giving this book 5 stars for two reasons: first, because the giant final confrontation worked out in such a weird way, that it seemed unrealistic. Especially because one character that has almost no reason to show up does, and it’s quite convenient when that happens. Second reason is because of how often Rocco and Parker used “bitch” in reference to women. I understand they had a difficult childhood, but none of it was caused by women. Their mom and aunt were the only good people in their lives, so their common disrespect for women as a whole made no sense to me.
