About this deal

She tries to tune everyone out, shunning her old lifestyle as the pretty, popular cheerleader, but somehow she can't hide from Damen, the new guy at school. It’s important that the plot, no matter how unlikely, must revolve around the hero saving the heroine. Damen is not even a vampire (even though he doesn’t eat anything, but does drink some red liquid and drink her friend’s blood- how silly of Ever to come to that conclusion! They are forced to sit next to each other in class (To any people who have read Twilight, I wonder where she got that from xD), they accidentally touch and Ever feel so normal (wouldn't you be freaked out?

I really felt for her because of all she lost and what she struggled with daily… Evermore was a really fast, engaging read with some great characters. As Ever is drawn deeper into his enticing world of secrets and mystery, she’s left with more questions than answers. For those, however, who can’t get enough of super-hot supernatural immortals, Evermore and its sequels may be a good bet. After a horrible accident claims the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom can see people's auras, hear their thoughts, and know someone's entire life story by touching them.In Everless, she found out more about her family, but she also discovered that she lived 12 times before this. It's slow, and while I don't mind taking a languid ride through a few hundred pages if the writing is exquisite and the eventual end is worth the wait, in Evermore it just isn't. But she has just learned the truth: She is the Alchemist, and Caro – a woman who single-handedly murdered the Queen and Jules’s first love, Roan, in cold blood – is the Sorceress. Evermore has 346 well written magical pages, that contain manageable chapters which are full of unexpected twists and turns. If a dude touches your body or your clothes in a way that makes you uncomfortable, you don't have to make the effort to move or pretend not to notice it.

If you’re looking for a NA SFF Romance, where you can just turn your brain off and enjoy, you should definitely check out this series. There were plenty of other more romantic moments to choose from to start their physical relationship, and right after death wasn’t it. After a horrible accident claims the lives of her beloved family, sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom develops psychic powers. The plot appears about three quarters of the way through, most of it happening to Haven, who, for various reasons stops talking to Ever for a good proportion of the book so we don't even see much of the results of it. So here is my first review in almost three months… for the sequel to what I’d honestly say was the book that got me reviewing in the first place.

It wasn’t anything new, in fact, ‘ Evermore’ was extremely derivative of most Young Adult books, and therefore felt entirely predictable, monotone and two-dimensional. Miles- again it seems apparent that Noel has never met the gay community so she bases it off stereotypes- his gay characterization was done horribly wrong, so badly done that if he met KURT Hummel- he would have been bitchslapped. She treats everyone around her like garbage and then expects them to paw at her adoringly while she mopes in her hoodie, with no makeup on her face. In fact, as weird as it may seem I actually liked the books about Riley Bloom, Ever’s little sister, who actually did die in the car crash even better.

Based on the popular YA novel, Evermore, and aided by countless more like it, I have compiled an easy to read and follow list of rules for writing a popular series and being able to sell out your soul at the same time. So whilst you can't have your main character associate herself with being cool, it still has to be obvious to your audience that she totally is. The writing wasn’t anything special- I felt that Noel didn’t do much to explain, plus the mythology was terrible. It throws a whole new issue into the mix and I really cannot wait to see how Summer is going to get herself out of this one. But she has just learned the truth: She is the Alchemist, and Caro-a woman who single-handedly murdered the Queen and Jules's first love, Roan, in cold blood-is the Sorceress.
